Sessions of York developed the PLX100 Laminator for use in the motor industry where labels are used in harsh environments. Designed specifically to print and double laminate an engine information plate, it has proved to be a very successful process for this major engine manufacturer. Labels can be printed on selected material and immediately laminated
and cut into single labels for manual application. Alternatively
they can be rewound with the rewinder option. Laminates are available
in single layer for general protection and double layer for painting
processes where the information needs protection and must be revealed
after the paint has dried. |
| The PLX100
can print text, graphics and most types of barcode in all directions
up to 6 inches per second. It has built-in
Zebra emulation
so pre-written Zebra formats can be downloaded with ease. The PLX100
also offers a unique built-in foil save system to save on thermal ribbon
for maximum efficiency. Minimum waste is achieved through the machine’s
ability to print, laminate and cut in one operation allowing very small
batches to be run. Print formats can be downloaded from your existing Windows label generation software using our free print driver or can easily be generated using our free software package or for more complicated designs, we offer our Sessions Labelview software. The PLX100 offers an efficient method of protecting your information and allows labels to be used in harsh environments. |
