Security Tagging Machine
Sessions Machine Division launch the versatile TAGMATIC SECURITY TAGGING machine. The semi-automatic machine allows the operator to change product shape with seconds whether they are tubes, small cartons, tubs or bottles. The applicator can quickly apply a security tag from a reel, either as a label or incorporated into a Sessions' self-adhesive printed GardTag Label.

Sessions help fight fraud with fugitive ink technology.
When Sessions of York were asked to help with a project for labelling Urine specimens taken from potential drunk drivers we quickly found a number of solutions. The law allows the suspect to take away a sample to be independently tested, however the police must make sure that the sealed bottle is not exchanged for an alcohol -free sample at a later date.
Using a special tamper evident self-adhesive material, which cannot be removed without visible damage, Sessions added to the security by printing a special fugitive ink. The ink is engineered to bleed and stain the surrounding areas when it comes into contact solvents, indicating tampering has been attempted. The combination of these two security features ensures that the sample that gets tested is from the same sample given at the time of arrest.
