300/4 IS A WINNER
FOR CONTRACT PACKER Sessions of York modified equipment labels 90% of contract packer product range
Faced with the challenge of labelling a wide range of containers, bottles and trigger sprays, contract packer Redbrook Packaging has installed a Sequence 300/4 labeller supplied by Sessions of York. Designed for maximum versatility, the Sequence labeller has been modified to meet the array of product shapes and sizes - ranging from 100ml to 2.5 litre in volume - providing a labelling solution to ninety per cent of the entire product range. A spokesperson for Redbrook Packaging comments: “Due to the large range of products being labelled, we required a system capable of labelling both circular and rectangular bottles. Sessions proved to be the obvious choice as the company offered the expertise and a very competitive package from the outset. By altering the feeder plates on the Sequence, Sessions modified and pre-configured the machine to our exact requirements, enabling precise labelling of our oval and rectangular containers. The versatility of the Sequence enables it to label virtually all the products. The unit is efficient, provides excellent print quality and, because the machine is pre-configured, it is easy to use.” The Sequence 300/4’s stepper motor driven Brio labelling heads are configured to provide front and back panel labelling suitable for a multitude of different applications. Ideal for cylindrical products, the secondary wrap-round function uses a three roller revolving mechanism. All machine drives are synchronised with the primary conveyor and adjustments are calibrated for ease of setting. Suitable for in-line or stand alone operation, the robust stainless steel chassis and 2.2 metre nylon slat conveyor lends itself perfectly to harsh production environments. -ENDS-
