SESSIONS OF YORK INTRODUCE NEW PRINTER LAMINATOR

Durable filmic material provides surface protection against harsh environmental conditions for any industrial application

Providing the perfect solution to label surface protection in harsh environments, Sessions of York has introduced the PLX Printer Laminator. Incorporating a specially designed laminating station, the thermal label printer allows variable information to be overprinted and subsequently protected by an overall tough laminate. This makes sure that the variable overprinting is protected in tough conditions.

Film laminate is applied to the label and guillotine cut to provide an overhang of the laminate on the self-adhesive label. Sessions will supply labels able to withstand extreme temperatures, which are ideal for many industrial and automotive applications.

Sessions can also supply a two-layer laminate for use on the PLX Printer Laminator. The upper layer is used as a mask for spray painting. After painting the upper layer is easily manually removed - leaving the final scuff resistant laminate in pristine condition.

Using labels in a variety of materials in varying thickness, the PLX Printer Laminator enables precise cutting of durable filmic labels or continuous materials to any length.
