SPECTRUM PROVES ITS FLEXIBILITY FOR LABELLING LANCET CARTONS

Sessions machine solves self-adhesive tamper evident labelling problem for Owen Mumford Ltd

Faced with the challenge of applying self-adhesive, tamper evident labels precisely to a range of different shapes and sizes of lancet cartons, Owen Mumford Ltd has installed a Spectrum labeller — supplied by Sessions of York.

The Spectrum is applying labels to both top and bottom-opening profiles on the cartons in order ensure a secure tamper evident seal to the pack. After labelling the cartons are fed onto a rotary accumulation table ready for transit packing.

Versatility, performance and user-friendly features are key benefits of the widely-used Spectrum and, with its fine adjustment control, the unit caters for a wide variety of carton shapes and sizes, making it one of the most cost-effective labelling systems available.

Designed for high-speed applications, this fully automatic and compact Sessions system has a wide range of advanced features and is supplied in two widths — 115mm and 195mm. It can be supplied fitted with a hot foil coder for overprinting variable information such as date, batch and best before data at the point of labelling.

Sessions of York is one of the UK’s leading and most progressive manufacturers of labelling equipment and self-adhesive labels. The company offers an extensive range of high performance labelling units from ex-stock models to custom-built systems designed to meet virtually any labelling requirement — however demanding.
