Continuing to push the boundaries in sleeving, Sessions of York has launched the latest addition to its range of heat shrink sleeving machines – the Cat Sleeve 500.

The Cat Sleeve 500 has sleeve speed application up to 120ppm and its twin 400mm diameter capacity sleeve reel holders are strategically sited for operator easy loading. The splicing table also ensures quick reel changeover reducing downtime and an optional accumulator is available for non stop running.

The Cat Sleeve is exceptionally accurate, versatile and user-friendly. Its centre mandrill is adjustable so it can cater for a range of sleeve diameters and heights. Adjustments are calibrated with digital displays so machine set up and reset is simple and easy to use.

The Cat Sleeve control box is boom mounted ensuring clear access to the machine and it rotates through 360 degrees providing the operator with control vision from any angle. Also this modular machine can be easily moved from line to line ensuring optimum running.

This labelling technique employs special shrinkable materials, which form to the product, providing safety in transit, secure tamper evidence and an effective space for further information and branding decoration.

This innovative and unique machine is the result of over two years of market research and engineering development at the company's headquarters in York. The new machine complements the already established versatile and highly popular Sessions Sequence Performance labeller.
