precision labelling
The high precision RC30 self-adhesive labelling unit - one of the most popular and widely-used units designed and manufactured by Sessions of York to handle small round items - has been upgraded to offer a number of valuable new operational benefits. Sessions RC30 is used to label a varied range of difficult-to-handle products such as inhalers, vials, tubes, pencils, batteries, and lipsticks. At the heart of the enhanced RC30 is a new laser etched datum plate ensuring maximum precision. Simple interfacing with a hot foil facility for batch and code dating remains a key feature of this Sessions unit. The new PLC controlled machine reduces demands on line space with a smaller footprint size. Diagnostics are made easier with a new operator-friendly screen and other new features include a pre-set and run counter and additional safety features. In addition, the RC30 can be supplied with an optional tray-to-tray feature, ideal for small and difficult-to-handle products. Instead of randomly ejecting the labelled containers, a device fitted to the out feed of the machine turns them through 90 degrees by means of a turning mechanism and then ejects them singly on to a catchment tray by means of a pneumatic cylinder. Sessions has been supplying the RC30 for over 25 years to a variety of industry sectors throughout the world. |
