Leading label manufacturer, Sessions of York is supplying grease and lubricating supplier Wymark Ltd with wraparound self adhesive labels for its main range of lubricating units under the Greasomatic brand name. Sessions gained the contract thanks to an ability to produce labels that fit the company's current requirements for durability and ease of application.

A Director at Wymark comments: "Sessions has been extremely helpful and understanding of our requirements. The company has gone to great lengths to manufacture labels that operate efficiently on our labelling unit and meet our specifications perfectly. Sessions also holds stock and supplies the labels on a quarterly basis to our plant. Occasionally we need specially designed labels for certain customers. These are always competitively priced and the turnaround is excellent."

Sessions provide Wymark with two types of labels. One features standard graphics and the other is used for larger quantities of Greasomatic units where the type and brand of lubricant is pre-printed by Sessions. Both label types feature a clear window scale in millilitres that gives a visual indication of the amount of lubricant discharged. Printed in three colours on clear vinyl, the labels are supplied on the reel and applied via a coder that overprints variable information such as batch numbers and oil types.

Once applied the labelled Greasomatic units are distributed to machinery companies, shipping lines, motor companies and bearing manufacturers where they are used in numerous lubricating applications including deck winches, axle bearings and conveyors.
