Sessions of York is reporting rapidly increasing demands for printed wine bottle labels as British vineyards enjoy bumper grape harvests and growing sales. As the emphasis on eye-catching branding at point-of-sale becomes more important in this sector, Sessions is being asked to produce more challenging graphics. A case in point is the popular Furlong and Golden Mile wines. This winery recently turned to Sessions to upgrade its labels and now use these stunning four-colour process designs which project a quality image designed to reflect the high quality of the wines. Currently there are over 400 British vineyards of all shapes and sizes, the majority situated mainly in the South of England, with the largest producing an average of 400,000 bottles each year. |
