Adding to the extensive range of GardTag security label formats, Sessions of York continues to develop it’s range of GardTags - the perfect solution to support the fight against product shrinkage for high value items such as CD’s, DVD’s, Videos and Video Games, consumer electronics and other high value fmcg products on open sale.

Sessions has incorporated innovative Acoustomagnetic (AM) technology into the Self-adhesive Tags, providing effective Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and reliable point-of-sale protection for a range of high value products.

Using its unrivalled expertise in label production, all GardTags are manufactured by Sessions using materials specifically suited to each individual security application and cut to virtually any shape which is deemed to be functional on the product being tagged. For media products such as CD’s, DVD’s, Videos and Video Games, the Self-Seal Tag is made up of gloss clear film which is specially profiled, incorporating internal security cuts and a non-residual adhesive that ensures that no glue is left behind when the Tag has been removed. GardTags are usually supplied on reels for automatic application and available printed with multi-coloured graphics as required, Sessions has developed a security solution perfect for high-value media products.

Sessions offer a bespoke service in terms of label design and shape, structuring the latter to provide maximum effectiveness when applied to product. Additional options available from Sessions include opaque white or silver film or paper versions available with the option of permanent, semi-permanent or removable adhesives. The additional security device of ink-jet sequential numbering is available to ensure accurate label count. Sessions can also supply a range of semi and fully automatic applicators to apply GardTag labels to a variety of pack sizes and shapes at speeds to suit source tagging production lines or smaller in-store operations.
