RAISED AWARENESS FROM SESSIONS

Sessions Multi-Layer Plus with added tactile warning symbol
solves legislative labelling problems

Sessions of York has further developed its already successful Multi-Layer Plus labels with the addition of a tactile warning symbol.

Sessions has few equals in being able to offer a product of this construction because of the specific press configuration necessary for this complex task. It requires a sophisticated combination of multiple laminations, flexo and screen printing, plus varnishing to produce a concise, informative label with perfect print clarity and the correct level of durability.

Increasingly popular, Multi-Layer Plus labels from Sessions have the advantage of up to five printed pages - booklet style - to accommodate a wealth of information where space is at a premium and is especially relevant for multilingual instructions. Vital information remains with the product, extraneous packaging eliminated and manufacturing time and costs reduced.

Importantly, for this product to comply with consumer health and safety legislation, Sessions can incorporate not only the visual hazard warning but added a transparent tactile symbol for the benefit of partially sighted or blind consumers. Manufactured to be flexible, the transparent tactile symbol is resistant to cracking and placed over the visual warning without obscuring text or graphics.

Sessions supplies its Multi-Layer Plus labels – with or without tactile symbology - on sheets for hand application and on-the-reel for semi or automatic labelling. The company also offers a wide range of labelling equipment for semi and fully automatic application of these specialised labels onto filled bottles.
