Using its vast knowledge of durable filmic materials and compatible inks, Sessions of York has supplied Flowserve – the global fluid motion and control products and services specialist – with attractively branded labels that can withstand harsh environmental conditions.

A primary requirement for the self-adhesive labels is the need to display strong, high quality branding for a range of different flow control actuators. In addition, variable imprinting is necessary to identify various model types. The labels also have to be extremely tough due to the harsh industrial environments in which actuators are used.

Sessions came up with an ideal and cost-effective solution using durable and imprintable Matt Silver PET as a permanent base for the attractively designed three colour graphics. A specially designed cutter further enhances the appearance of the labelled unit. This provides the visible branding and robustness required by Flowserve. Finally, high tack permanent adhesive ensures the branding and usage instructions remain evident for the life of the product.
