more labelling
options than ever before
Chilled foods can now be protected against shrinkage at point-of-sale by a new, low-temperature version of GardTag - available ex-stock and exclusively from Sessions of York. Designed to provide effective EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) protection, newly launched GardTag LT is the latest addition to Sessions popular stock range of security label formats. Highly cost-effective, Sessions GardTags incorporate an AM (Acoustomagnetic) chiclet. The specialised labels can be attached to virtually any consumer product including book spines, clothing, giftware, whisky cartons and - with the LT version - pre-packed chilled food packages. The stock range of GardTags is available printed with the message “This tag has a metallic element that should not be placed in a microwave”. Sessions also offers an extensive range of semi and fully automatic label application systems, which allows GardTags to be applied securely to a vast range of different products at low or high speeds. The high tack self-adhesive label is designed not to damage products but to be exceedingly difficult and time consuming to remove without being observed. Simple but highly effective, the GardTag system
consists of the Sessions label, a transmitter and a receiver connected
to an alarm that creates
an ‘interrogation zone’ within the retail store, either at
the checkout aisle or the shop entrance. A resonator emits an audible
sound if the GardTag is passed through the security pedestals without
first having been deactivated. |
